KSTAR Physician Assessments

KSTAR Physician Assessments are designed to help physicians who want to re-enter practice, have a perceived practice issue or are under a medical board order and need an assessment to demonstrate their knowledge base. The assessments review physician expertise to determine a physician's competence and ability to practice medicine.

Assessments are two days on site at the Texas A&M Health Science Center campus in Bryan, Texas, and are individually tailored to meet each physician's needs. Assessments may include but are not limited to: standardized patient encounters, record review, NBME multiple choice testing, cognitive screening, and physician discussions and interviews.

KSTAR works collaboratively with the National Coalition for Physician Enhancement (CPE) and state medical boards.
